I have a fairly significant collection of wood fragments that i've collected. I've been thinking of John's talk about rug as wall ornament and I feel that it might be interesting if i could crochet the wood into the pieces, possibly as a cap on the end. That way, it could go from throw rug to tapestry.
There is also an interesting symmetry to the materials, where wool is a sort of luxury fiber and each piece of wood, though it may seem insignificant, is unlike any other, aiding toward my "one-of-a-kind" concept in my branding strategy. Anyways, just a thought.
